housekeeping - update
Given the overwhelming lack of recent interest in this blob or blog by WCN volunteers (except for the redoubtable and loyal Sharon) (thanks for participating, Sharon!), we're moving on. Even so, we will definitely be open for comments with an ever-present open door to SBWCN news and reviews.
With a new personality onboard, me, BirdSelf!, the emphasis will be shifting more to news: avian flu (with an emphasis on wild bird news), action alerts, anything else, wildlife-related, that strikes the fancies of participants.
Comments, updates, suggestions (either in the comments or by e-mail to the address at below, at the first entry), news, tips welcomed!

Do you guys want tips on the rehabing of opossums. They are the EZest animal to care for! You change their newspapers once and day and sometime during the day, before dark, you feed them. Well, maybe it's not THAT ez, but close!!!
Let me know and I will be glad to help anyone set up for the season.
Sharon
Hi Sharon,
It would be good if you would post your tips and instruction here so all can know what to do. Or how to care for possums, as Connie wrote about crows.
If you would e-mail it to me I'll format it and post it (crediting you).
It would be nice if the care for each of the major species cared for by the SBWCN could be described here. Education is a good thing!
Anyone else wanting to have posted specific wildlife care, please send to us.
With Regards to the upcoming mammal training:June 17th: We will give the basics for rehabbing baby raccoons, skunks and opossums, basic wildlife safety tips, and when to call animal control.
You must register with SBWCN to get directions and gate code!!!
12-1 social hour and tour
1-4 training
4 hours of certified F&G education hours ( Everyone rehabbing must have 8 hours a year.
